Short CV:

Jürgen Wicht studied Economics at the University of Wuppertal. After he completed his degree in Business Administration as Diplom-Ökonom in 1997, he worked as research assistant at the chair for Economic Statistics & Econometrics of Prof. Dr. Gerhard Arminger. He received his doctoral degree in Economics in April 2001.
Implementation of numerous projects with industrial partners dealing with Supply Chain Management in the retail business.

Research Focus:

• Generation of operational and strategic knowledge using micro data / micro information within the Supply Chain
• Indicator systems in retail logistics, especially in order to control communication between manufacturer and retailer to improve the ECR (Efficient Consumer Response) process
• Strategic Key Performance Indicators in the area of logistics of international wholesalers
