Short CV:
Marc-Oliver Pohle studied Economics and Mathematics at Goethe University Frankfurt, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Economics in 2011, a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics in 2016, and a Master of Science in Quantitative Economics, also in 2016. He completed his subsequent doctoral studies in July 2021. From 2015 to 2022, he worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Statistics and Econometric Methods at Goethe University Frankfurt, before taking up a one-year substitute professorship in econometrics there. Afterwards, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Computational Statistics Group at Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies, with which he is still affiliated as a visiting scientist, and then at the Institute of Statistics at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Since April 2026, he has been a research associate at the Chair of Economic Statistics and Econometrics at the University of Wuppertal.
